Whether for relaxation or rehabilitation, Therapeutic massage is a basic treatment that can help everyone.
In a Therapeutic Massage session, you will undress and lay under sheets on a massage table. The therapist will use lotion applied to the skin, and a variety of manual techniques to treat you, such as joint mobilization, deep pressure massage, frictioning, compression, and stretching.
CRANIO-SACRAL THERAPY
Utilizing gentle and soothing touch, this powerful therapy can help to improve your health and vitality, reduce chronic pain and increase energy. Focusing on clearing and improving the functionality of the Craniosacral system of the body, running from the cranium (skull) to the sacrum (tailbone) and following the spinal cord of the nervous system.
During a cranio-sacral session, you will lie, clothed, underneath a blanket. The therapist will gently touch your feet, legs, hips, ribs, chest, neck and skull, to assess for restrictions and trauma.
Craniosacral therapy can help ease the symptoms of conditions such as migraines and tension headaches, sinus infections, neck pain, fibromyalgia, whiplash associated disorders, TMJD, and mood disorders such as anxiety or depression.
“Regular massage therapy can help you to live a better, healthier life-style. It’s right for everyone, and I do mean everyone. Whatever your capabilities, age, or level of physical fitness, there’s something it can do to improve your health and wellness.”
